Max Berndt is a Commercial Loan Analyst for GF Capital. He supports the underwriting team by conducting financial analysis, market research, and due diligence on prospective loans. Max assists in structuring terms, preparing underwriting materials, and presenting analyses that guide credit decisions. In addition, he collaborates with brokers, borrowers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution and contributes to pipeline development initiatives.

After completing GF Capital’s internship program last summer, Max returned full time to support our team. In the years prior to his internship with us, he interned for two other real estate investment firms in the Orange County area.

Before joining GF Capital full time, Max graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in business administration focused on real estate and finance.

When Max is not hard at work, he can typically be found on the golf course, at the beach, or watching the Chargers.
