Ira Glasky is the Vice President and General Counsel of GF Capital responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance activities for the company.  A role he also concurrently serves in for Far West Industries, an Orange County-based private real estate development and homebuilding company, and its affiliates.

During his over 25 years as an attorney, he has specialized in corporate, real estate, land use, local government, political, and election law. Ira has a strong governmental affairs background having worked for the California State Assembly and as a lobbyist on the local, state and federal levels.

Ira has a proud history of service and dedication to his community including as an elected member of the Board of Education for the 36,000 student Irvine Unified School District from 2014 to 2022.

Ira has a political science degree, with a minor in public administration, from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School where he was the Managing Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review.
Born and raised in Orange County, Ira has lived in Irvine with his wife Michele for over 26 years and is the proud father of two adult children, Spencer and Julia.
